Fifth grade students at Houser enjoy World In Motion! The students studied force and motion, then designed and created cars. Each class held Derby Races to determine the best car from their individual class. The fifth grade holds a Derby Race in the cafeteria to select the best car from Houser Intermediate. The class with the best car represents Houser at Compaq/Sci held in February at Montgomery College.

The Hawks' Nest at Houser is a resource center for all students.
Special Ed., G.T. students, and Regular Ed students. Students can research
projects on the computer, listen to taped books, receive individual help,
have a lesson taught in a different modality, or have small group instruction.
